The free readiness check

Your answers are scored in your own browser. We keep the score and the answers only if you ask us to email your result or you start an application. We never publish your score, and a result link you share does not reveal your answers.

If you give us your email

We store your email address, your language, and the fact that you asked for the result — so we can send it and, occasionally, tell you about the service. Every email has an unsubscribe link. We do not sell or share your address, and we do not email people who never asked.

If you start an application

To prepare a DS-160 we store what you type plus any documents you upload — passport, photo, CV, ID. These are held in a private encrypted store that is not publicly reachable; access needs the private link we gave you, or our own operator login.

Uploaded documents are read by an AI service (Anthropic) to fill your form so you do not have to type everything. It is used to process your document, not to train a model on it.

We delete application documents when your case is finished, and in any event within 90 days. You can ask us to delete everything sooner, at any time, and we will confirm when it is done.

Email delivery

Emails are sent through Resend, which necessarily sees your address and the message.

Visitor statistics

We count page views to know which pages are useful. We also count how far people get through the free check (which page they reached, never their answers) and which website or advert sent them — for example a Facebook ad or a WhatsApp link. None of this uses cookies or identifies you: the source is remembered only in that browser tab, and private application links are stripped before anything is recorded. When you send us a request, leave your email or pay, we note that source with it, so we know which adverts are worth paying for.

Advertising

If you agree on the banner, Facebook's advertising tool stores a small file in your browser so we can see which of our adverts brought people here, and so we can show our adverts again to people who started the free check. Facebook learns that you started or finished the check. It does not receive your answers, your score, or your email. Saying no changes nothing about the service, and you can change your mind by clearing your browser data for this site.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to erase it. Write to support@stayvenia.com or use the contact form, and we will reply within 30 days. If you are unhappy with how we handled it, you can complain to your national data protection authority.

What we are not

We are not affiliated with the U.S. government or any embassy, we are not lawyers, and nobody can guarantee a visa. The consular officer decides.
